COACH HECTOR GARCIA
Hector is originally from Puerto Rico, where he played for Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda. He then attended college in Florida and played club ball. He continues to travel to play in Puerto Rico as well as here in the MSBL. Hector has been coaching for nearly a decade and is well known in the Town of Cary leagues for his innovative and effective practices and enthusiastic encouragement of the players. Parents and players from other teams frequently request to participate in those practices. His son's growth from Moondogs Baseball and his training atK-Zone makes him a strong believer in Dan Kopitzke's training methods & principles. He is honored to share his experience with the Moondogs and your children as they follow their baseball dreams. As his favorite player Roberto Clemente once said “Anytime you have the opportunity to make a difference in the world and you don’t, you are wasting your time on Earth." |
